Ministry of Agriculture: agricultural exports of Russia in 2022 increased by 12%

The volume of exports of products of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) of Russia in 2022 increased by 12% compared to last year's figures. About this at the IV strategic session: "Russian Agroexport 2022-2023: trends, challenges and new opportunities," said Sergey Levin, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

"The joint efforts of the state and business have allowed us to maintain the positive dynamics of agricultural exports. In 2022, exports of agricultural products increased by 12% compared to last year," Levin said.

According to him, "the results of 2022 inspire confidence that Russian agricultural exports are based on a solid foundation." Russian products are in demand all over the world, despite external pressure.

Levin added that additional support measures were taken to support the business this year. The expansion of the network of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture abroad was continued. With their active participation, access to the markets of 10 countries for 20 types of products was opened.
