The Verny chain bought 37 stores from the Red & White management company

The Verny retail chain has acquired 37 stores from Mercury Retail Holding PLC, which operates the Red & White and Bristol stores, the company said.

This will allow the retailer to increase its presence in the European part of Russia and open stores in a new region – the Tver region. It is planned to launch 10 Verny outlets here.

The deal included 35 leased and two own stores, which were previously part of the network of discounters "Cheap". Their total area is about 20 thousand "squares".

All these points of sale are being converted into Verny supermarkets. This will happen in the first quarter of 2022.
